This is Carmencita castor bean.
Grown from seeds planted January, photo taken today of buds beginning to open.
My first year to grow this plant and I will grow it again.
In my next door neighbor's yard.

A real attention getter. Big leaves and bright red berries. Berries resemble cockleburrs exceot color.
