This is a newly planted young tree. Planted last year, and it's now in blooms. Other established Prunus campanulatas around the neighborhood aren't blooming yet.

Blooming at an early age, roughly 6-7 feet tall tree.

Planted in 2013, it's doubled in height. Earliest cherry to bloom in our garden. Yoshino will bloom next, then Kwanzan.

Blooms when your Tulips, crocus begun to poke through the gound.

Late August at Gilmour Lake, Waihi, NZ
