The delicate looking heavenly pastel blue blooms of the bog sage (Salvia uliginosa) have a white throat and are wonderful to behold. They provide a cool and refreshing feel to the garden.
Lovely blue hue in the lower lip.
I used a bellows extension to get closer.
Bees forage these tiny flowers intensively!
