It seems every house in our neighborhood has these plants. Some are huge.

This yellow elder survived a transplant to a sunnier spot and is now much happier. It tends to look scraggly during the winter but the blooms in spring make up for it.

We live in Nebraska. I take the Yellow Elder into the greenhouse every winter and it always rewards me with beautifuls blooms all summer long and into the winter.
