Texas native wildflower.

Grows native in the north central, north eastern, and panhandle regions of the state of Texas.

Zone 5b/6a: Blooming in early May.

Dried seed pod. Seeds need to be collected before the pod breaks open.

Seeds are easily collected, break open the pod and they fall out. I waited too long on these.
