The leaves turn a bright yellow in the fall.

Young fruits are greenish turning brown when ripe.

The fruits grow in a cone-like cluster. Each fruit is a single-winged samara.

Tree end of April. Don't know if deciduous or not... this is first time I've noticed it. Outside of Huntington GArdens, Pasadena California

The reason we bought our lot - 72 inch Tulip Poplar estimated to be over 100' tall.

My favorite tree, at least 80 feet tall in our smallish Illinois backyard.

This leaf just fell out of my Tulip Tree (that's a soccer ball and a normal sized leaf!)

New leaves emerging on this giant, old beauty. Cherokee Park, Louisville, KY.
