White Ginger

Early morning glows almost like mother of pearl. Looks like butterfly.

Yesterdy it was a tight bud & this evening it opened out in minutes. I think it is quite beautiful.

The aroma of the flower is worth the wait!

With all the rain, bigger and better than ever. Great aroma.

Taken this morning after the first frost, you can see ice crystals on the flower...a truly tough beauty!

So happy my Ginger is growning here in VA.

Butterfly Gingers growing near my spring. These started from a 1 gal. pot & have since spread.

Rescued these plants from a remodeling. Wasn't sure what they were until they bloomed!

One of my favorite flowers. Gorgeous with a wonderful fragrance
