Drooping Leucothoe, Fetterbush, Dog Hobble 'Girard's Rainbow' (Leucothoe fontanesiana)

Showy, pendulous clusters of white flowers provide wonderful contrast in spring.

Gracefully arching, striking red stems with colorful, mottled leaves. Foliage emerges white, pink and coppery, maturing to green streaked with cream. Emerging shoots are bronzy or reddish.

Oct.04, does very well as a foundation planting but can be controlled in a garden setting too!

Closer picture of the variegated leaves

Neat shrub. Great spring and fall color. Evergreen so all seasons of interest.
