This is a plant with a flowering stalk. As you can see no trunc at all.

Pleasing to the eye, & pleasing to the touch, this low-branching succulent is easy to grow, tolerant of dry shade, & can be massed as a groundcover.

Huntington Gardens

Aeonium canariense which I removed from main plant and it is re-rooting now. It is 23 " in diameter.
