All blooms from R.V. have been perfect! Pics don't do this one justice
pretty impressive clump for it's first year!
Taken by Ruth Muldrew in her Zone 4 garden. August, 2002
Older, but very nice daylily. Mutiplies rapidly and shows up well from a distance. Very Bright!
Red Volunteer is planted by a tiny stream in partial shade. The stream is a trickle unless it rains
rich red with bright yellow throat
First year plant
Hemerocallis 'Red Volunteer' grown in Los Alamos, New Mexico
This bloom of "Red Volunteer" greeted me one rainy evening after a long day at work.
I have many many daylilies but this new addition has quickly moved to the top of my short list of favorites!
