Common Cosmos, Mexican Aster (Cosmos bipinnatus)

Cosmos Sensation with a smattering of Marigolds

This grew from a southeastern wildflower seed mix. The only plant from that mix to be bi-colored.

I grew these from seed and thought they looked like weeds until they bloomed. I love them! They take heat in Austin very well. 7/4/05.

grows easily from seed, late bloomer in zone 7b, love the airy bright green foliage

They get VERY TALL....Nice a Soft Bushy Leaves

Cosmos Seeds

One of the late bloomers!

Gulf Frittilary on Cosmos

We ordered wildflower seeds and got a lot of these, which are very nice. They came up and bloom very quickly.

Young foliage

The pretty ferny/divided lacy foliage of cosmos

A bright magenta one

The end of a flower!

cosmos - pistil, stamen, and stars! from my garden 2004, when the cosmos grew to 9' tall

Another shot I liked.

Very close image of a spent flower.

My cosmos garden was a butterfly Grand Central Station through the entire long, hot, dry summer

cosmos falls over the wall and keeps blooming!
