A flower that contains both male and female parts. It can pollinate itself and does not need wind,insects or other means to transfer it's pollen. The pollen is produced in the same flower that produces the seed.

Tomatoes and peppers are examples of plants with perfect flowers.

A perfect flower is a type of flower that has both pistillate (female) and staminate (male) parts. It may or may not have petals or sepals.
