Definition of grasshopper

Categorized under "General"

Definition as written by Terry:

A hopping member of the Orthoptera order of insects. Grasshoppers feed on many types of plant foliage, sometimes completely defoliating and destroying the plant.

Chemical sprays are often used to control infestations, although grasshopper spore is also a viable option, and some claim to have good success with homemade grasshopper bait
