Categorized under "General"

Definition as written by Monocromatico:

Biologically, Order is the taxonomic rank between Class and Family. Orders are formed by groups of families that share a common and exclusive set of characteristics. The names of the orders are made by the name of the oldest described family in that group, followed by the sufix "ales". Ex: Rosales (Rosaceae and related families), Fabales (Fabaceae and idem), Liliales (Liliaceae and ibidem).
