Definition of presoaking seeds

Categorized under "General"

Definition as written by mystic:

Soaking seeds in warm water, usually overnight, but can be longer or not as long depending on the seeds to soften. Sometimes chipping or scarifying is required with seeds with especially hard seedcoats. (Using a fingernail file on some seeds helps too.)
