"I used to live in NYork state where God did the watering and things just grew -more or less. Now I garden in Moab, Utah where the temps go from Zero winters to 115* or more in the summer. And we're 10 years into a seven yr drought where it only rains about six inches in a good yr. anyway. We have whole swaths of territory where natives like Pinyon Pine and Sagebrush are dying. I've slowly switched to mostly perennials and roses. Roses seem to love Moab. Every year
I spend a month or so gardening at my daughter, Crystal Spin's in Orange County, Ca. Me sand, she clay. Photography is my other hobby both SLR and Ecamera so there will be pictures."
