This book is my propagation "bible", for sure. Very easy to understand, lots of step-by-step pictures. A must for any gardening library. Before I bought this book, I went to the library and perused many. This one was by far the most comprehensive.

This book has become my "bible" with regards to propagation. The various techniques are easily understood via drawings and step-by-step instruction. The reader is clearly instructed on how to propagate their plant and which technique is most suitably indicated.
The book covers annuals & biennials, herbaceous perennials, ferns, bulbs/corms/tubers, alpines/rock garden plants, conifers and heathers, shrubs/trees & conifers, houseplants, water plants, herbs, fruit and veggies.. Also mentioned are: seed botany & hybridizing, propagating media, propagation by season, and pests & diseases.
Overall, a wonderful addition to the gardening library.
