This is a companion to Duthie's "Continuous Bloom" which treats shrubs and trees. She highlights plants that bloom or have other attractive features (foliage, berries, etc.) each month of the year. There is some growing information about each plant, with some useful tips and warnings about potential problems. Not the most extensive information I have ever seen, but still useful. There is one large and beautiful photograph of each plant, and some plants are featured twice if they have two seasons of peak interest. A very useful resource for people trying to plan for continuous interest in the garden.
