Positive	MsBugs (2 reviews) January 13, 2004	Have only ordered once from this company - I tend to avoid mail order plants because of bad experiences with other companies. But Read's was helpful all the way through, patient on the phone, honest about the size and quality of the plant and postage costs, quick to despatch and the plant was far better packaged (though very simply) than orders I've placed with much bigger companies. The plant (a kaffir lime) was about 1/3 cheaper than the only other supplier I could find at the time, and a good, healthy, well planted and cared for plant. Reads' seem to specialise in edible shrubs and trees - they have a national collection of citrus, and their website has categories for figs, vines, fruit trees as well as "conservatory" plants. Pics and descriptions are reasonable and as I said, they're helpful on the phone as well. The honest, highly satisfactory service on top of the range of unusual plants they offer makes them well worth a try.
