An $80 gift order was not delivered and there was no effort made to make this right or offer a discount etc. VERY DISSATISFIED and would absolutely not recommend!

I had a similar experience with 1800Orchids (aka 1888Orchids).
I placed an order on 9/7/2009 for an orchid plant with USPS priority delivery over the phone. I was told it would ship out the same day. I called again 2 days later just to make sure it shipped and I was told it did. I asked them to email me the tracking information and I was told they would do so ASAP. It was supposed to arrive on the 10th but when it didn't I called again. I was once again told that it was shipped and they said they would email me the tracking information which they had yet to do. I waited another few days and received no emails or the plant.

I called yet again, it had been over a week since my order, but this time I was told my plant was never shipped out. The individual on the phone told me they would send out a plant free of charge due to the confusion. I was told it would go out that day. I waited 2 more days and called back. Same problem again, I was told it was shipped but it hadn't. I waited a week and called back again. This time I was given a tracking number and saw that the plant was shipped.

It received the plant on 10/8/2009 a month after I requested it. I also noticed that I was charged for the plant. $10 more than the cost of the original plant I ordered. It is 10/26/2009 now and I am still trying to resolve the issues with this company.

I recommend staying as far away from this company as possible. They lied to me many times and have very poor business practices.

On 05-05-05 I ordered an orchid plant with 2-3 day delivery. The plant still has not shown up. I have called at least 5 times, only to get a recording. I leave a callback number and specify the reason I called. I have e mailed over and over, the return email address from the order confirmation gets sent back to me saying 'mail undeliverable'. I send email via of website. I have been doing this for 4 days and have not received any reply at all.I guess the BBB is the next step. Stay away from 1800orchids, save yourself the worry and hassle of dealing with what appears to be an illegitimate company, if not something worse.
On May 13th, 2005, duki added the following:

UPDATE: Today05-13-05,seven business days since the order, the plant arrived at its destination. My emails and phone calls remain ignored however they did call my mother to assure she was home and offered a tracking number. No explanations for the delay,no way to try to get fee back for express delivery.
My mother did say, the plant is lovely, 2 stalks 3 flowers blooming and 13 more ready to bloom, the the pot is nice to she said . One stalk may not make it though. Overall I still say stay away from them.

Ordered a bouquet of orchids from and was sent an invoice online detailing the order. I paid extra to have it sent within 2-3 days of order to arrive on a birthday. The flowers didnt arrive within 2-3 days...including strictly business days. So, I called. I was informed that for some reason they took 3 additional days from the original order to have the flowers cut and then an additional 2 days before they were sent. I was then told that I should have been called, but (in Chris, the manager's own words) Uh...well, Uh...they should have been sent, but uhhh...(nope not even a lame excuse given)

I was told then that they would be out in 3 days and that I would receive a tracking number. After 4 days, still no flowers, no tracking number and no call. by the 6th day they finally arrived with 1/5th of them dead and all the company would elect to do is offer a pathetic 25% off...of the next order...which wont ever happen.

Save yourself time, money and frustration and go elsewhere.
