Super fast shipping and HUGE roots. Even though the fans are cut back, these look like some of the healthiest daylilies I have bought from an online vendor. Hope they grow out as strong as they look!

I attempted to order several plants on ebay, and after I ordered 2 I realized that they were from Green Thumbs Galore, I also saw that the others I wanted to order were also from them. So, I quickly canceled my 2 orders, and got a reply that they were canceled within minutes. This all took about 10 Min. I then went to put those items into my cart, and combine the orders, to save the seller time and shipping for both. But she had blocked me. I have never had anyone do that before, and I have a 100% positive feedback on ebay for over 8 years.

Curious about this, I searched and found the number for them. The owner answered, and she stated that it wasn't business hours. I apologized and said that I would call back during business hours. She stated that I had her on the phone now, and asked what I wanted.

I explaned to her about the ebay issue, and why I did it, and she knew about it, and stated that she would not unblock me on ebay even after I told her why, and that it would benefit us both. She told me that paypal changers her $1 for ever cancellation, I have never experianced this before, and have not been able to find any info to back that up. But that is not relevant after I talked to her, I even stated that I would be more than happy to pay her for that issue, even thow I had no idea that paypal did that.

So, even after apologizing, and explaining to her everything, and offering to make it up to her, she still refused to unblock me. She was not professional, and on the rude side. I'm glad that I called her, and found out what she is like before I wasted any cash on her. I have found another place to order the plants I wanted, and I will be making sure that as many people know about her as possible.

So, over what she claimes was $2, and that I offered to reimburse her for, she not only lost a potential good customer, she got her first negative review on here.

I hope for her it was worth it.

I also had a conversation with a representative from ebay regarding this, and they informed me that you were in the wrong, and that they had never heard of Paypal charging ebay sellers a $1 cancellation fee. She also stated that it was not right for a seller to block a user for simply canceling an order.

Like I told you, I canceled the 2 orders, because I believed it would be beneficial for us both.

So, my intentions were pure, but yours were not.

The ebay representative has provided me with ways of reporting you, and making sure other ebay users know about your blocking rule.

FYI, you can block all you like on ebay, but to do it for the reason you did with me was WRONG, UNPROFESSIONAL, and goes against ebay policy.

I see that you and your business uses other mediums like Facebook. The ones used for business are rightfully and justly subject to ridicule.

I had a couple of questions, which Belle very quickly answered.

I placed my order...easy shopping cart and checkout.

My order was processed and shipped immediately.

I received big, beautiful, healthy plants that were an incredible value.

What else can you hope for?

Just received my first order and will definitely continue to patronize this company. Nice healthy plants (hellebores) securely packed and wrapped in damp newspapers which will be added to my compost heap.

i ordered a daylily from this company recently and i am very happy with my purchase. supposedly the daylily i ordered are two or three fans, but i received a big healthy clump instead. maybe six fans at least? well packed, came with a beautiful tag. thank you very much!

Green Thumbs Galore went way beyond there responsibility to help me with a shipping problem.
The U.S.P.S. Really screwed up delivery of plants that I ordered. They are lost in "postal hell"
Belle was very responsive and responded quickly and did everything she possibly could have,
Including giving me a credit for the cost of the lost plants, and responding to me on the weekend, when they are closed.
Unfortunately I can't rate there plants, but for service, there the best.

Well , there's no surprise there's only positive feedback and happy faces to this company . A company that stands behind it's products is a good company . I didn't have to send another email , I been told , be patience , give it some time ... Next email I received was : -Are they doing good ? , I said : - No . And They didn't hesitate to send a replacement . Everything else I bought from them is doing great . Good size plants ,

I just received some plants that I ordered and was pleasantly surprised. Many mail order companies send plants that are weak and fragile. These were bigger than expected, communication was excellent, packing was superb, instructions for each plant were included, prices reasonable for the size and quality of the plants. Will buy more from GTG.

Ordered two hellebores and received very nice plants at the time promised. They came with clear planting instructions, and even told how to induce the plants to produce seed. Good selection of hellebores at reasonable prices.

I ordered some Helleborus a couple of months ago for fall shipping, then was able to add a couple of yellow Coneflowers, which I was very happy about. I received a shipping confirmation and the plants arrived on time and well packed. I love these Helleborus 'Red Lady', so glad she had these at such a good price. Nice roots should establish quickly and bloom first year. I like that! :)

I have purchased many daylilies from many companies. I have never received better, healther or more reasonably priced plants. They were each carefully wraped and a plant marker was included with each plant. I am already preparing another order.

My son purchased me some Helen Collingwood historic TB Iris fans from here for my Birthday this October,and they were the largest healthiest TB Iris Fans I've ever seen, they also threw in 2 huge extras of this same wonderful historic variety as well, and all of these gigantic fans still had additional healthy baby plants attached that could be seperated off too. Also, last but most importantly, this company is willing to take orders and ship plants way into the Fall where as most iris growers won't take orders after June and wont ship after August, they both took my son's order and shipped in October, Just fantastic!!!. Just wonderful people to do buisness with, and they will always have both my sons buisness and mine as well for years to come. Sandra.

I ordered two types of Hellebore (Lenten Rose) from Green Thumbs Galore via two separate avenues (one via Bonanza and the other on their website). Their site was very clear about which type would bloom this coming spring and which would take another year or so to mature (so they keep your expectations realistic). Both orders shipped beautifully and arrived in excellent, healthy condition. Belle even managed to get them to me in time for me to get them in the ground before I went out of town for vacation. She also included a sweet hand written note wishing me a nice trip. I will definitely use them again and I look forward to seeing my new flowers this spring!!

I have been very well satisfied with this company. On my most recent order, there was a delay before the item could be shipped. Owner Belle kept me well informed by email regarding the order's progress. This unusual personal touch is very much appreciated.

Ordered two Ruby Frost coreopsis on monday and received the plants Wednesday. The pint plants were healthy and one was in bloom. They came securely wrapped and boxed, but could have used more moisture. Will order from here again.

My first order from GTG was for just two canna rhizomes. They were delivered to FL in 3 days! The shipment contained one large rhizome of each with multiple shoots already growing. Also included were two or three decent sized smaller rhizomes, allowing me to start a nice little clump of each for a ridiculously small investment. I will definitely buy here again.

I ordered Echinacea Tangerine Dream and Coral Reef from this company through ebay. Belle (owner?) was so helpful, understanding, and very informative, despite it took me several days to pay because I was away for 4 days.
Shipping was fast and I received huge and very healthy plants for a quart size. The Tangerine Dream already got a flower and another bloom on the way. That was really a surprise for me.
Prices were very reasonable especially at the size of the plants.
I will order from them again for other varieties. They're one of the best.

I had made me a new canna bed this spring, and had put strictly City of Portland rhizomes in it. After they started to come up and I saw I had space for more, I ordered 10 from Greenthumbsgalore, at a very reasonable cost. I got them within a 2 week period and they too are up and growing.
Greenthumb is now using Google Checkout, not Pay-Pal. If it had been Pay-pal, I would not have placed the order.
I would recommend this nursery to any and all my friends.

I had ordered 3 echinacea from them last fall. One Tiki Torch, one Tomato Soup, and one Mac and Cheese. The Tiki Torch was sent out immediately. I knew the other two would be sent out in spring, as they are new for 2009. So, expecting the other two this spring, I just received all three! Even the one that I already got last fall!
I would definitely do business with them again! Fast shipping too!

I ordered Echinacea Meringue from them last August. They indicated on their site that they had several in stock. They never sent the plant. Supposedly they will send one this spring, but why did the site indicate my plant was in stock? They also bill through PayPal so I was charged immediately for the plant I still haven't received. I don't like paying for a plant and waiting till the next year to receive it, especially when I'm charged $16.44 for a single Echinacea plant.
On February 10th, 2009, echinaceamaniac added the following:

They refunded my money to PayPal. Overall, my impression is still negative of this experience. I don't understand why their site indicates they have plants in stock and available and then you order one and it suddenly isn't available now. Had I known the plant wasn't available, I would have ordered from another company. Did a rabbit eat it or something?

if it was based on the plant alone id give a negative . i got a daylily night beacon. it was so small and dry . for the same price i could have gotten it at a daylily auction alot bigger . but communication was good and shipping was prompt

I ordered a couple of plants off Ebay from GTG and they were shipped promptly and securely. They were healthy larger plants and have been growing nicely since being planted. I would certainly considering purchasing from them again.

On Saturday, March 29th, I placed an online order for several varieties of Irises, Cannas, and a few Brugs.

Communication was quick and excellent, and I received my order (minus the Brugs which will ship later) within 3 business days. Not only was that very impressive, but the plants were in EXCELLENT condition, had very healthy roots, and nice growth on the Irises. I would definatly order from them again, and I highly recommend this company to others.

I purchased 5 cuttings of Confederate Rose and was extremely surprised and happy.. I was sent a rooted cutting and a total of 8 very healthy cuttings. I would purchase again any time.
