I have to start out saying I had excellent service and communication. These folks are lovely and helpful as much as they can be.
The rating is based on the fact that a vaste amount ( well over half) of seeds ordered did not germinate for me and lifespan of seeds was incredibly shortened as opposed to other seeds ordered. Now, I am, what people call, a seedaholic. I give community classes on growing food, am involved in seed libraries, have been gardening for 30+ years, etc.I am not a ''newbie'' in fact, I am an organic farmer, my passion and hobby is unusual edibles. They had quite a few interesting varieties in this respect. The seeds that did do well -such as corn and peas- the year of purchase (2015 growing year, about 90% germination rate) , germinated at 10% (if that) this Season, which, in comparison to other seeds sourced elsewhere, was extremely unusual.
Prices are on the higher end, ordering is not difficult per se , but it must all be written down, so it can be time consuming and tedious, not terribly user friendly, the catalogue offers little information and is more of a list than anything else. A note on the sister company, peace seedlings, that carry different seeds, but also some of the same, The Kapulers will refer you to one or the other for whatever your needs, they will ship together, which is great of them, however the to and from becomes a little overwhelming ( you are having to flip through the lists back and forth, different websites..).
Also I did not get everything that I ordered and instead of emailing to inform me, I was simply sent a note with the package, which didn't help because I ended up loosing out on other opportunities to buy those elsewhere.
For all those reasons I would not recommend buying from them and am disappointed to have to be so negative, however people pay good money for their seeds therefore I think it only fair that my experience should be out there for future clients to consider.
