Ordered an American Smoketree (Cotinus obovatus) from Sunrise in May 2007, but after several weeks without it shipping I contacted them to find out what was up. They indicated that they would be unable to supply the tree and would have to issue a refund. Understandable...things happen. But after another month I still had not received a refund...and tried contacting them. For months this continued...no return phone calls and no return emails. I finally have filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau..but as of right now (February 2008) both are indicating Sunrise has not responded to their investigations. I've done thousands of dollars worth of online shopping and this company is the first to honestly rip me off. Avoid them at all costs.
